Daily planning is one of the best ways to stay productive and be on track.
It takes a very little time but saves a ton of it!
That’s why planning everyday has become a part of my routine.
In this post, I want to share with you my favorite top4- daily planning tips that make a simple and dull to-do list more effective and enjoyable.
Plus, at the end of it, I have prepared for you 3 amazing and FREE planner sheets that you can use daily.
So let’s get to the tips!
Break the task into smaller parts
When you have a big task it is very effective to break it down into much smaller parts.
This way it will be easier for you to determine how to start doing it or how much time it might consume.
Let’s say you need to clean your room that might take a few days.
Instead of just writing “clean the room” in your planner, try writing the smaller tasks and more specific ones.
- change the sheets
- clean the desk
- reorganize the wardrobe, etc.
It will ease the whole process and you will be right on track!
After writing down the task you need to get done write the time you need to start doing it or amount of time to spend on it.
For example, when I need to write the post I write the steps I need to make and add the time frames near.
Or write down the hours in a column and the task near the each one. Like this:
It will help you use your time wisely and flow through the day smoothly.
It is easy sometimes to get overwhelmed with how many things you need to do at a specific day.
And it can easily lead to a stressful burn-out.
To avoid it, start prioritizing your tasks.
If you know you have a dozen stuff to do, define 3 most important tasks.
Set 3 the most crucial goals you need to accomplish that day.
Anything else on your to-do list will be a bonus if you have time and energy.
Get more specific
Make your to-do lists more detailed and specific.
It kinda goes back to breaking the big tasks into the smaller ones.
Again, with writing, let’s say, “shopping” add some more details about that. Like the main things you want to get.
It helps to bring more focus and clarity on your task which helps with productivity.
Now we’ve come to our free planner sheets yay!
The planner sheet includes:
- a to-do list
- timing section
- gratitude list
- section for important things
- notes section
- space for writing down your feelings and how your day went, which makes it a diary-like.
I have 3 different versions of this planner. Choose the one you like, print it and start planning with more enjoyment now!
